Frances Levine was one of six women honored at the 99th Anniversary of the Spirit of St. Louis Celebration sponsored by the Lindbergh Foundation. The foundation recognizes women whose leadership continues to shape aerospace, literature and its community.
Levine received one of two Anne Morrow Lindbergh Awards for her writing and past leadership as president and CEO of the Missouri History Museum.
She said, “With this award, and with the conversations around it, I hope to make space for discussions of our own times, and our obligation to find places where we can talk openly about the past, and to widen the voices of those we will listen to in the present.”
