Seth Wiesman and Shira Simon were married Sept. 22, 2024 in Rockford, Ill.
Seth is the son of Kathy and Mark Wiesman of Chesterfield. He is the grandson of Linda and Howard Kenyon of Phoenix, and Marcia and the late Judge Melvyn Wiesman of Creve Coeur.
Shira is the daughter of Randi and Glenn Simon of Mundelein, Ill. She is the granddaughter of Irene and the late Howard Silberman of Buffalo Grove, Ill. and Sheila and the late Mel Simon of Glenview, Ill.
The groom’s brother, Aaron Wiesman, served as Best Man; the bride’s brother, Aaron Simon, was Man of Honor.
Other members of the wedding party included Daniel Ackerman, Joey Bricker, Molly Grettenberger, Julie Grossman, Mary McNally, Cheyenne Montigo, David Schoenberg, Avi Shemesh, Leah Shukla, Vanessa del Valle and Alex Walanka. The bride’s niece, Isabella Simon – de Valle, served as flower girl.
Rabbi David Chapman of Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook, Ill. officiated at the wedding.
The couple, who reside in Chicago, enjoyed a wedding trip to New Zealand and Fiji.
