Rick Recht and ‘Judaism Alive’ to lead star-studded musical lineup to support Israel

In a resounding display of unity and solidarity, a star-studded lineup of musicians, rabbis, cantors and prominent figures will gather for “Unity in Harmony: Standing in Solidarity, Song, and Prayer for Israel.” This virtual event, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. CT, promises to be a moving evening of hope, strength and healing.

Presented by Judaism Alive, the nonprofit parent organization of Jewish Rock Radio, JKids Radio, Songleader Boot Camp and Jewish Star, this event has garnered the support of major partners such as the Foundation for Jewish Camp, Jewish Federations of North America, Harold Grinspoon Foundation, JCamp 180, PJ Library, Life & Legacy, JCC Association of North America, Union for Reform Judaism Camp and Immersives, National Ramah Commission, Young Judaea, Sing Unto God, Cantors Assembly, American Conference of Cantors and Guild of Temple Musicians.

The lineup for “Unity in Harmony” reads like a who’s who in the world of Jewish music and leadership.

“We have organized this important event to not only raise funds and stand with Israel but to gather together in healing and hope through music,” said Rick Recht, executive director of Judaism Alive. “When there are words to express our profound range of emotions, music provides a way for people to connect, pray and heal.”
