Kaballah, Pilates topic

The Jewish Women’s Chai Circle meeting will present “Kaballah and Pilates” at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 2122 Park Forest Dr. in Chesterfield. Join Pilates instructor Kathy Mateos and taste an array of refreshing and healthy salads. The Jewish Women’s Chai Circle, which meets monthly, seeks to unite Jewish women in the Chesterfield area and includes a variety of hands-on activities and projects, discussions and workshops. BSKI adult ed program

Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel will present an adult education program on The New Anti-Semitism with Dr. Sam Goldman, professor emeritus at SIU-Carbondale, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29. Goldman has earned national recognition for service in community health, public education, human relations, bioethics and economic development. He was recently appointed by the governor of Illinois to the board of trustees of SIU. Cost of brunch, at 9:45 a.m., is $5.

JCC, Kollel program set

The Helene Mirowitz Department of Jewish Community Life of the Jewish Community Center and St. Louis Kollel are partnering to offer a women’s only spiritual exercise class. The “Learn & Burn” class combines interactive, positive women-based Torah teachings with aerobics to improve body, mind and soul. Class starts Feb. 7 and will continue every Tuesday 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Carlyn H. Wohl Building in the Women’s Health Club. JCC Members: free; non-members: $5 per class. ’60+’ luncheon, program

The St. Louis Conservative Synagogue Joint Initiative for “60+” Programming will hold it’s 60+ luncheon and program at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel, 1107 E. Linden Ave., The program, “A Musical M élange,” will feature Rabbi Miller, Suzanne Brodden and Phyllis Hyken. Cost is $6 for lunch (vegetarian meal available if ordered in advance).
