In less than a week, “The Passover Project: A Musical Seder” is back—bigger, better and more soulful than ever. This one-of-a-kind celebration is happening Tuesday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) at City Winery St. Louis at the Foundry in Midtown. If you haven’t snagged your tickets yet, don’t wait—this event will once again sell out.
So, what’s in store?
Think of it as Passover, but with a musical twist. This interactive, family-friendly seder-meets-concert brings together St. Louis’ top musical talent to create an unforgettable night of song, storytelling and celebration.
Expect soulful grooves, poetic readings and fresh takes on classic Passover traditions led by an all-star lineup, including:
Jeff and David Lazaroff (Brothers Lazaroff)
Robert Koritz (Dark Star Orchestra drummer)
Anita Jackson (powerhouse vocalist)
Joey Ferber (singer-songwriter, guitarist)
Michael Tzinberg (fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin master)
David Goldenberg (mandolin virtuoso)
Avi Mazzeo (vocalist extraordinaire)
Plus, Rabbis Amy Feder and Daniel Bogard will be on hand to weave in some inspiring Passover wisdom. And if you haven’t heard Rabbi Amy sing, you’re in for a true treat.
Wine, dine and celebrate
Because no seder is complete without good food and wine, City Winery’s culinary team will be serving up:
- A special four-glass Passover wine flight (or order by the glass)
- A mix of non-kosher Passover-inspired dishes (available for purchase)
- Complimentary matzah & macaroons on every table, along with a seder plate
(Note: City Winery requires a $25 per-person food and beverage minimum for adults.)
Why this event matters
This isn’t just about celebrating Passover—it’s also a “friend raiser” for the Jewish Light and the future of Jewish journalism in St. Louis. Every artist is donating their time to make this event happen, and every ticket sold helps keep local Jewish storytelling alive.
