Meredith “Mimi” Hilburg, daughter of Gale and Harry Hilburg of St. Louis, and Wesley Thomas Darnell, son of Annette and Charles Darnell of Lebanon, Mo. have announced their ezngagement. 

She is the granddaughter of the late Phyllis and the late Alan Millner of St. Louis and the late Mildred and late Sigmund Hilburg from Nyack, N.Y. He is the grandson of Helen Cowan of Lebanon, Mo. 

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue Horten Watkins High School, and earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Purdue University, her master’s in gerontology and her master’s in public policy administration from University of Missouri-St. Louis. 

She is currently employed as a Workforce Development Specialist for the city of Springfield, Mo. 

Her fiancé is a graduate of Lebanon Missouri High School, earned his master’s in accounting from St. Louis University, and his Juris Doctor degree from University of Missouri-Columbia.  

He is currently employed as a CPA at Elliott, Robinson and Co. in Springfield, Mo. 

A May, 2015 wedding is planned.
