Sam Sigel steps up to the bimah for a bar mitzvah to remember

Sam Sigel, son of Lori and Randy Sigel of St. Louis, became a bar mitzvah Sept. 30, 2023 at Congregation Shaare Emeth. 

Sam is the grandson of Sheri and Fred Siegel, and Paula and the late Robert Sigel, all of St. Louis. He has one sibling, Max Sigel, who is 15. 

A seventh-grade student at Ladue Middle School, Sam’s interests and activities include Camp Emeth, Ladue Junior Rams seventh grade football, yearbook club and playing with his dog, Vinnie. For his mitzvah project, Sam worked to get food donations from St. Louis Bread Co. for the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.
