Rose Biernbaum (nee Becker), age 96, passed away on December 20, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Ben Biernbaum for 52 years. Loving mother of Gary (Cynthia) Biernbaum and Alyce (Richard) Bell. Cherished grandmother of Colleen (Brian) Mueller, Andrew Biernbaum, Jody (Brian Young) Bell, Brian Bell, and Jason Bell. Adored great-grandmother of Sadie Mueller. Loving daughter of the late Benjamin and the late Fannie Becker. Dear niece of the late Sarah Scolnik. Devoted sister of the late Saul Becker and the late Betty Rosenberg and brother in-law Albert Rosenberg. Dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and devoted friend to many.

Rose was dedicated to her family and had a special love for babysitting her grandchildren. Her passion for music extended to playing the piano, a talent she shared on the radio. Alongside her musical pursuits, she found joy in showcasing her culinary skills and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Funeral service Sunday, December 24, 10:00 AM at Berger Memorial Chapel, 9430 Olive Blvd, with interment to follow at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road. Visitation with Rose’s family at 9:30 AM until time of service.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Association.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support of Rose’s caregivers at Bentley Extended Care, including nurses Cheryll and Danielle, the staff at Pathways Hospice, including nurses Sam and Kelly, Social Workers Lindsey and Rachel, as well as nurse Nicole from Specialized Wound Management.
