Beloved husband of Diana Dobkin Katz for 55 years; dear father and father-in-law of the late David Katz and Daniel (Ramey) Katz; Grandfather of Ava Katz; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Benjamin (late Carol) Katz and Joel (Adrienne) Katz; brother-in-law of the late Stan (Arleen) Dobkin and Ilene ( Terry) Wisniewski; dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Gary was a humble, giving selfless husband, father, brother, neighbor, and friend. He had a love of nature including gardening. Gary had a passion for creating community and uplifting others.

Funeral service Thursday January 23, 2 PM at Berger Memorial Chapel, 9430 Olive Blvd. 63132. (Also Available by livestream) Visitation from 1:30 PM until the time of the service. Interment following at Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, 1601 North and South Rd. 63130. Memorial contributions preferred to the Humane Society of Missouri and Mercy Health Foundation.
