NCJW plans domestic violence event Nov. 14

National Council of Jewish Women St. Louis is partnering with the Missouri Association for Marriage and Family Therapy with an event on Tuesday, Nov. 14to move the conversation forward on domestic violence. Domestic violence is a national and local issue that often hides in plain sight. This engaging conversation with local experts aims to help identify, prevent and intervene with families faced with domestic violence.

 The event will be held from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the NCJW offices on 295 N. Lindbergh Blvd. in Creve Coeur. Breakfast is at 7:30 a.m. and there is a panel presentation from 8 to 10 a.m. with panelists Gretchen Arnold, assistant professor at St. Louis University; Carly Cooper, from Kinetic Counseling; and Heather St. Peter, from Bridgeway Behavioral Health. Cooper and St. Peter hold master of social work degrees and are a licensed clinical social workers.

 Ticket prices are: $10 for students, $18 for NCJW STL members and $30 for licensed/provisionally licensed professionals. CEUs are available and all profits support MFT students. To register, go to https://moamft.eventbrite.com.
