Crown Center hires new staff

Crown Center for Senior Living has hired a new client services manager.

The Jewish nonprofit senior residence in University City hired Erik Strange, an Army veteran and a 2021 graduate from Brown School at Washington University, according to a news release.

Strange previously worked at Dolan Memory Care Homes; the Association on Aging with Developmental Disabilities; and as a practicum student with NORC – Naturally Occurring Retirement Community. Strange started at Crown Center in June as client services manager.

In the news release, the organization also provided details on two other hires it has made over the last 14 months.

In May 2020, the organization hired Andrew McMahon, a University of Missouri- St. Louis graduate, to serve as a client services manager. McMahon previously worked with homeless veterans at St. Patrick Center. He works in Crown Center’s meal program, case management and other direct client services.

In August 2020, the organization hired Liz Bode as housing compliance manager. Bode spent 16 years at Lutheran Senior Services in the affordable housing department.  For Crown Center, Bode manages the agency’s affordable housing systems.
