Coming in February: ‘The Events Event: 20/20 Vision for Life’s Celebrations’

The Jewish Light is planning a series of special events this year, beginning on Thursday, Feb. 20 with a luncheon at Westwood Country Club called “The Events Event: 20/20 Vision for Life’s Celebrations.” More than 20 tables will be beautifully designed by St. Louis industry experts to highlight a plethora of Jewish simchas, including Shabbat and holiday dinners, b’nai mitzvahs and wedding celebrations, among others.

Professional party planner extraordinaire, Simcha Lourie, will speak about party trends and offer ideas “on creating the perfect vision for your event.” For anyone who will be celebrating a special occasion in 2020, along with those who enjoy entertaining and appreciate stellar table design, this event is not to be missed.

In addition, “The Events Event” will help support the Jewish Light, a nonprofit, independent news source that informs, inspires, educates and connects the St. Louis Jewish community. Donations, along with advertising revenue, are key to ensuring a healthy future for the Light, and continued success.

“We look forward to highlighting exquisite and innovative table design, all with an eye toward timeless Jewish traditions,” said Suzanne Epstein-Lang, Light trustee and vice president for events. “We hope the community will take advantage of this opportunity not only to view first-hand these amazing table tops but also to enjoy a wonderful lunch, visit with old friends and meet new ones, and support the St. Louis Jewish Light.”

The cost of the event is $75, which includes lunch and valet parking. Sponsorship opportunities are available, ranging from $500 to $10,000. The event co-chairs are Heather Zajarias and Ellen Abramson. Sponsors include Mannen Financial Group, Utopia, the Harvey Kornblum Foundation and Simcha’s Events.
