Rosali Anselmi Albert, May 28, 2026, born Pato Branco, Brazil, October 4, 1947
Beloved wife of Arthur Albert. Dear step-mother of Richard (Rebecca) Albert and Lisa Albert. Loving grandmother of Ashley (Aaron) Winnett. Beloved sister of Agostino Anselmi, Jaime Anselmi, Rosita Pachega Anselmi, Salete Anselmi dos Santos and the late Jaci Anselmo and Neide Terezinha Peretti Anselmi. Dear sister-in-law of the late Stanley (Naomi) Albert. Beloved daughter of the late Avelino and Almery Anselmi. Dear aunt, cousin and good friend.
Born in Brazil, she later lived in New York City, where she was introduced to her husband, Arthur. Rosali and AA had just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary — a beautiful milestone in a life filled with love. Rosali always had a deep love for animals and never hesitated to help whenever any animal was in need.
Rosali was a truly brilliant woman. At a time when air traffic control was a heavily male-dominated profession, she set her sights on becoming an Air Traffic Controller and refused to let anything stand in her way. She passed every single test, administered at 7:00 a.m. for 52 consecutive weeks, never missing a single question. Out of only a handful of men and women, Rosali was one of the few who successfully passed. She went on to dedicate 25 years of her life as an Air Traffic Controller in Rio de Janeiro, working in one of the most challenging airports in the world. Her intelligence, discipline, determination, and strength were extraordinary, and she broke barriers with grace and excellence.
