SEGOVIANO-FISCHER

Irene Segoviano Mancera, daughter of Othon and Dalila Segoviano of Monterrey, Mexico, and Daniel Blair Fischer, son of Margie and Gary Sacks and Kenneth Fischer of St. Louis, Mo. and Los Angeles, Cal., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Gloria Diaz and Luiz Mancera of Mexico City, the late Magdelena Camarena and the late Mauro Segoviano of Guanajuato, Mexico.

He is the grandson of Betty and the late Boris Pureen, and the late Henrietta and the late Irv Fischer, all of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Monterrey where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is currently the legal representative for M & I Industries in Monterrey. Her fiance is a graduate of Ladue High School and the University of Wisconsin where he earned a B.A. degree in English and Spanish and the American University School of International Service where he earned a master’s of international affairs degree in economics.

A spring 2008 wedding is planned.

HONIGBAUM-GRANOK

Jodi Leigh Honigbaum, daughter of Joel and Linda Honigbaum of Indianapolis, Ind., and Howard Alan Granok, son of Jerrold Granok and Tara Allen of Pagosa Springs, Col., and Manchester, N.H. were married Dec. 17, 2006 at Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel where Rabbi Mordecai Miller and Cantor Janice Roger officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the synagogue. She is the granddaughter of Lucille Honigbaum of St. Louis, the late Ben and Sylvia Snyder of Cheyenne, Wyo., and St. Louis and the late Arthur and DeVera Honigbaum of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of the late Sam and Betty Allen of Albuquerque, N.M., and the late Ben and Rose Granok of Chicago, Ill. Bridesmaids were Elisa Israel and April Shaw, sister-in-law of the bride.

The groom chose Alex Granok, his brother as best man. Groomsman was Warren Carlson.

Following a wedding trip to New Zealand, the couple resides in University City.

NEWMAN-HALE

Michelle Louise Newman, daughter of Ron and Rose Newman of Chesterfield, Mo., and Thomas L. Hale, son of William Hale and Stephen and Cindy Cook of Columbia, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Robert and Lena Newman of Town & Country and Monroe and Harriet Zimmerman of Boca Raton, Fla. He is the grandson of the late Loyd and Leila Smith and the late William Price and the late Ruth Ann Hale.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central and Bradley University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and the University of Missouri-St. Louis where she earned a master’s degree as a reading specialist.

She is currently teaching fourth grade in the Fort Zumwalt School District. Her fiance is a graduate of St. Charles High School and Lindenwood University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. He is currently teaching fifth grade in the Fort Zumwalt School District.

A July wedding is planned.
