Erin Elizabeth Polinsky of Chesterfield, daughter of Randi and Barry Polinsky of Chesterfield, and Andrew Noah Rubin, of Long Grove, Ill., son of Jodi and Mort Rubin of Long Grove, Ill., have announced their engagement. 

She is the granddaughter of Ceil Becker and the late Albert Becker of Creve Coeur, and Marcia and Norman Polinsky of Olivette. He is the grandson of Roberta and Arnold Rubin of Riverwoods, Ill., and the late Miriam and Stephen Link. 

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Parkway Central High School. She received her master’s of accountancy in 2011 from the Kelley School of Business from Indiana University-Bloomington. She is currently employed as a staff accountant at GEM Realty Capital, Inc. Her fiancé is a 2006 graduate of Stevenson High School. He received his bachelor of science degree in 2010 from the SPEA School from Indiana University-Bloomington. He earned his master’s degree in finance from DePaul University in 2012. He is currently an associate at Frontline Real Estate Partners, LLC. 

The couple met while studying abroad in Florence, Italy and began dating when they returned to Indiana University in the fall. 

A September, 2014 wedding is planned.
