Jennifer Lutz, daughter of Janet and Barry Lutz of Chesterfield, and Steven Edele, son of Mary and John Edele of St. Louis, have announced their engagement. 

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Enid and Harvey Greenstein and Esther Lyss-Greenstein of St. Louis, and the late Gloria and the late Robert Lutz of Indianapolis, Ind. 

Her fiancé is the grandson of Eleanora Markus, and the late Elizabeth and the late Pershing Edele, all of St. Louis. 

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Indiana University and her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Lindenwood University. She is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher in the Parkway School District. 

Her fiancé earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and minor in business from the University of Missouri – Columbia and is currently employed as the manager of Edele and Mertz Hardware.

A June, 2015 wedding is planned.
