Emily Lynn Eisen, daughter of Jack and Ann Mayer Eisen of St. Louis, and Kristy and Wayne Williamson of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Bryan Scott Bierman, son of Wendy and Andrew Bierman of Milford, Mass., have announced their engagement. 

Emily is the granddaughter of Arlene (z”l) and Hillard (z”l) Eisen of St. Louis, Sandy (z”l) and Rudy Mayer of St. Louis, Wanda and Keith Wiltermood of Lexington, Mo., and Marilyn and Ken Phillips and Tom Williamson of St. Louis. 

Bryan is the grandson of Ethel and Charles (z”l) Bierman and Ilse (z”l) and Herman (z”l) Freundlich, all of West Orange, N.J.

The bride-to-be graduated from Parkway North and earned a bachelor of arts in education from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She is currently the Director of Camp O-la-mi and Youth Services at the JCC in Stamford, Conn.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor of science in youth development and a master’s degree in social work from Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. He is currently the Program Director at Temple Israel of Westport, Conn.

The couple met as NFTY youth advisors in the Connecticut-New York area. 

Bryan proposed to Emily in an apple orchard during the High Holidays of 2015.

A December 2016 wedding in Westport, Conn., is planned.
