Lisa Yusman, daughter of Barry and Stephanie Yusman of Ballwin, and Scott William Cornell, son of Raymond and Susan Cornell of Columbia, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Pauline and the late Nathan Lieberman of Evansville, Ind., and Dorothy and the late Irvin Yusman of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of the late Flora and the late William Jones of Columbia, Mo., and of the late Irene and the late Wilbur Cornell of Butler, Mo.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway West Senior High School and Jewish Hospital of Nursing and Allied Health, where she earned an associate degree in nursing. She is currently a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a Children’s Hospital transport nurse at University Hospital-Children’s Hospital and Columbia Regional Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

Her fiance is a graduate of Hickman High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he earned a bachelors’ degree in communication and a minor in Russian studies. He currently works for Information and Access Technology Services at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.

A September 2006 wedding is planned.

Elster-Satz

Janice Elster, daughter of Mark and Bonnie Elster of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Michael Samuel Satz, son of Larry and Carolyn Satz of Town and Country, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Marcia Rose of Toronto, Ontario, the late Sarah Israelowitz and the late Isaac Elster.

He is the grandson of Paul and the late Esther Satz of St. Louis and the late Irvin and the late Becky Alper and Ruth Alper, all of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where she earned a B.A. degree in Jewish studies and women’s studies. She is currently a fourth-year rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati. Her fianc é is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Tulane University, where he earned a B.A. degree in international relations and Jewish studies. He is currently a fourth-year rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati.

A July 2006 wedding is planned.

Denlow-Bennett

Jennifer Michelle Denlow, daughter of Israel and Helene Denlow of Chesterfield, and Phillip Steven Bennett, son of Robert and Joan Schlenker of Belmont, Mich., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Martin and the late Ida Goz of St. Louis, and the late Sol and the late Shirley Denlow of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of the late Felix and the late Irene Suchowolec, and the late Agnus and the late Erhart Schlenker, all of Belmont, Mich.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a B.A. degree in communication and economics. She is currently a sales associate at AOL Media Network. Her fiance is a graduate of Rockford Senior High School and Michigan State University, where he earned a marketing degree, and Depaul University where he earned an MBA degree.

He is currently vice-president, head of product marketing at Mellon Capital Management.
