Courtney Way Zimmer, daughter of Wendy and Kurt Zimmer of Hudson, Ill., and Joshua Gordon Goodman, son of Arlene and Arnold Goodman of Chesterfield, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Richard Anderson and Barbara Milne and BettyAnn and Arnold Zimmer. He is the grandson of the late Jane and the late Jack Schachter and the late Marion and the late Norman Goodman.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Bloomington High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and DePaul University, where she earned a master’s of education degree. She is currently teaching language arts and social studies at Frances Xavier Warde in Chicago, Ill.

Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is currently a senior account manager for CDW in Chicago, Ill.

A July 2006 wedding is planned.

Leibovich — 50 Years Together

Eva and Herman Leibovich recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise to Alaska with their children, Steven and Satu Leibovich, Gary and Robin Leibovich, Rick Leibovich (Ellen Halfon) and Rick and Susie Berg, and their 12 grandchildren.

Eva Blinder and Herman Leibovich were married May 29, 1955, in St. Louis. They are long)0time members of Temple Israel Congregation.
