If you were one of the many Jewish Light readers who couldn’t stop talking about Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This” last year, you’re in luck. The “Hot Rabbi Show,” as it’s affectionately known online, returns for season 2 on Oct. 23. And this time, there’s a whole ecosystem of ways to watch, chat and kvetch together.
How to watch
Season 2 of “Nobody Wants This” streams exclusively on Netflix, with all episodes dropping on Oct. 23. The show stars Adam Brody as Rabbi Noah Roklov and Kristen Bell as Joanne, his non-Jewish podcaster girlfriend, as they navigate love, faith and family life. To get ready, the official “Nobody Wants This” Instagram account has been posting sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes clips, including teasers of Brody and Bell back on set and reminders of the Oct. 23 premiere.

Where to join the conversation
If you want to go deeper, Kveller has relaunched its “Jewish TV Club” on Substack, entirely dedicated to Season 2.
“Back in 2024, we launched the Jewish TV Club because we wanted to be in conversation with all of you about some of the buzziest Jewish TV on air at this moment in time,” wrote Lior Zaltzman the deputy managing editor of Kveller. “Now, we’re revamping Jewish TV Club to focus on one big Jewish show at a time and we’re kicking it off with ‘Nobody Wants This.’”

On Facebook, fans are keeping the chatter going in public groups like “Nobody Wants This (Netflix)” already several hundred members strong, where posts range from “This is my 10th time watching!” to “When is Season 3 coming?”
