Mazel Tov | Andy Cohen now a daddy of two

Mazel Tov to St. Louis’ own Andy Cohen on the surprise announcement over the weekend that he was welcoming his second child, a little daughter, born via surrogacy.

Cohen announced Lucy’s birth on Instagram, posting a picture similar to the one he used to announce his son Ben’s birth over three years ago.
“HERE’S LUCY!!!!!,” wrote Cohen. “Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!! Her big brother can’t wait to meet her!
According to Lior Zaltzman of Kveller, “Lucy isn’t a Jewish name, per se, but it is a great name choice from the devoted “Peanuts” fan (Cohen loves decking Ben in merch of the beloved comics and cartoon series, and we’re sure he’ll continue that tradition with Lucy). Eve, on the other hand, is a lovely Jewish name, that of the first Jewish biblical woman, and possibly also an homage to Andy’s incredible Jewish mom, Evelyn Cohen.”
