St. Louis’ own Kevin Spirtas is getting ready to make his return to daytime television.

The 1980 Ladue High School graduate and soap opera veteran is returning this week to reprise his original role of Dr. Craig Wesley, whom Spirtas portrayed on “Days of Our Lives,” off and on from 1997-2009. You can watch the show for free on Peacock.

Spirtas Staying Busy

In just over a week the actor will be heading to New York City for special evening of story and song, in a special tribute to his AFTER FOREVER the series collaborator, the late Michael Slade.

Spirtas is joining host Patrick Oliver Jones for a first-time live interview for Jones’ podcast “Why I’ll Never Make It.”  It’ll be an evening of conversation and song as Kevin shares three important moments from his career and the struggles he’s faced as both an actor and producer.

He’ll talk about his time with Days of Our Lives, being the standby for Hugh Jackman in The Boy from Oz, and his most recent Emmy-winning performance in After Forever.

It’s a full evening of stories and singing as Patrick guides us through Kevin’s setbacks and successes in the entertainment business.

In a Facebook post, Spirtas alerted his fans who are not in New York, that “if you can’t attend in person… purchase a ticket to watch the LIVE STREAM!!”
