Actress Gal Gadot announces the birth of her third child

Israeli actress and “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot has announced the arrival of a new family member on Twitter and Instagram today:

Alongside her husband, Yaron Varsano, and her two daughters, Gadot captured and shared the moment when her new baby was held by one of her family:

“My sweet family 🖐🏼I couldn’t be more grateful and happy (and tired 🤪) we are all so excited to welcome Daniella into our family. I’m sending all of you love and health. GG ♥️🖐🏼🖐🏼🖐🏼🖐🏼🖐🏼”

Gadot, whose grandfather Abraham Weiss was a survivor of Auschwitz, has proudly practiced Judaism for many years and is very connected to her faith, most notably by celebrating Shabbat and other major holidays.

Like her other two daughters, Gadot has given her new baby a Jewish name: Daniella, which means “God is my Judge,” in Hebrew. Gadot’s other daughters have very Jewish names as well, including Alma, which means “young woman,” in Hebrew, and Maya, which means “spring,” or “brook.”

Gadot’s third pregnancy was undoubtedly the most public. She announced the pregnancy in March:
