The Jewish Community Center’s Marilyn Fox Building was the site of heated competition on March 7 during Battle of the Stars.
The annual J Associates annual fundraiser pitted teams of J supporters competing in challenges both physical and mental. Those ranged from hockey slalom to assembling a structure using sticks and marshmallows.
During “Where’s Steve,” teams had to identify the location of photos that depicted specific scenes in the J buildings. The clues: Steve Rosenzweig, J president and CEO, was shown in those areas, ranging from the book fair to the New Jewish Theatre.
Proceeds from the Battle of the Stars directly supports the J’s programs, services, and scholarships.
