Born in Jerusalem, Goldflam was raised in both Israel and the United States. He holds a master’s in foreign policy from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. With over 20 years of service in the Israel Defense Forces reserves as a combat platoon sergeant, he brings both academic and personal perspectives to the discussion.

His presentation, titled “An Insider’s Perspective on the War in Israel,” will focus on cutting through the misinformation surrounding the conflict. Goldflam will explore the war’s impact on tourism, daily life, and Israel’s future, aiming to foster informed discussions among faith communities, business leaders, and students.

“Even as rockets fall, there is hope—hope in the resilience of our people, hope in our allies, and hope in the knowledge that truth will prevail over lies,” wrote Goldflam in a recent Times of Israel blog post. “Despite the darkness, there is light.”
