Since 2004, the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award has honored extraordinary women who have set a high standard for philanthropy and volunteerism. This week, Vicki Singer of St. Louis joined their ranks as she was recognized at the International Lion of Judah Conference in Atlanta.
The award, named for Norma Kipnis-Wilson and Toby Friedland, celebrates women who exemplify a proven commitment to the Jewish community through leadership and philanthropic giving.
Singer has been a dedicated volunteer and leader, both locally and nationally. She recently completed an eight-year term on the National Women’s Philanthropy Board. Her leadership roles have included chairing Jewish Federation of St. Louis’s Women’s Philanthropy, serving on the Federation’s Board of Directors, and acting as the Federation’s Annual Campaign Chair.
The award presentation took place at the biennial conference, which brings together Jewish women philanthropists from around the world to celebrate their contributions and impact.
