A longtime community organizer is stepping into a new role aimed at strengthening Jewish life across the city. Jeremy Brok has joined MaTovu as its community and strategy lead, helping guide the direction of local Jewish engagement and collaboration.
In this position, Brok works with the MaTovu cooperative to help shape the organization’s strategic direction, grow and strengthen community engagement, support programming and build key partnerships to sustain MaTovu’s mission and vision.
He also plays a vital role in fundraising efforts and in positioning MaTovu as a vibrant, innovative center for Jewish life in St. Louis. Brok, a member of MaTovu, brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, program development and community building in St. Louis, most recently serving as LEAD STL’s director of core programming over the past six years.
