Military veterans, their family members and supporters attended a Veterans Day celebration November 11.

The event was co-sponsored by the host Mirowitz Center, Jewish War Veterans, and the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum.

Monroe Ginsburg, commander of the Midwest Department of the Jewish War Veterans, was the guest speaker. Following his remarks, the attendees watched the PBS documentary, “GI JEWS.” The program described the story of the 550,000 Jewish Americans who served in World War II.
