Theodora L. “Teddy”Hermelin, died December 23, 2011. Loving widow of Arthur Hermelin to whom she was married sixty-two years; devoted mother of Cheryl (Hiram) Martin; dear sister of Rita “Snookey” (the late Phil) Simon of Tacoma, Wash.; loving aunt, cousin, and great friend to many. She worked for the University City School District for 23 years. As head secretary at Flynn Park School she “mentored” many teachers in the “Teddy way of doing things.” After retirement she volunteered in various elementary school classrooms and at the Jewish Food Pantry. All who knew her were touched by her love and caring. Services: Funeral Service 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 27 at Central Reform Congregation 5020 Waterman Boulevard.
