Shirley Finn, nee Light, died November 5, 2013 at age 84 in Agoura Hills, Calif from cancer surrounded by her family. Formerly of St. Louis, she was the youngest daughter of Sam and Minnie (Miriam) Light; sister of Robert (Pearl) Light; widow of Leonard I. Finn; loving mother of Mark (Heather) Finn and Felicia (Jim) Hilaski; beloved grandmother of Isabella and Leonardo Finn and Kaitlyn and Nicole Hilaski. For the last ten years of her life She lived as a paraplegic and showed nothing but optimism and compassion for others and tremendous strength throughout her ordeal.  Her philosophy in life that “this too shall pass” will be forever ingrained in all who knew her. After her diagnosis of terminal brain cancer four months ago she showed that same compassion for others and a bright and optimistic attitude.
