Seth Tilzer passed away March 15, 2025, surrounded by family. Seth was married for nearly 42 years and is survived by his beloved wife Ann, and their three children, Dr. Emily (Zach) Fite, Leslie (Charlie) Cutelli, and Noah (Sophie) Tilzer. He was the loving grandfather to Hazel and Otis Fite, Shepard and Sasha Cutelli, and Leona Tilzer. He was the dear son of the late Sam and Harriett Tilzer, and leaves behind brothers; Jerry Tilzer and Lowell (Evy) Tilzer.

Born in Kansas City, Seth completed his undergraduate and medical school at the University of Kansas. He moved to St. Louis with his wife in 1983 for his medical residency at Washington University. After completing residency, Seth practiced Psychiatry in the St. Louis area for over thirty years. When Seth was not working, he was often on the golf course, walking with his wife and dogs, or traveling with his family. Seth loved adventure and remaining active.

Following his retirement Seth and his wife continued to travel and hike around the world. They spent half the year at their home in Canmore Alberta, where he was able to regularly enjoy hiking, skiing, and golfing.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 17, 2:00 PM at United Hebrew Congregation, 13788 Conway Road.  A private service is planned at his final resting place in Canmore Alberta. Contributions in Seth’s memory may be made to National Parks Conservation Association, Planned Parenthood, or FCSP Foundation.
