Sanford (Sandy) L. Wolff passed away on September 11, 2025, surrounded by family in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Beverly for 58 years; devoted father of Rob and Jill; and loving grandfather of Callie, Devin, Jackson, and Cammi.
Sandy was born on May 27, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Joseph and Gertrude Wolff. He grew up in University City, spending his time on the tennis court and playing basketball in his yard with friends. He attended Jackson Park Elementary, Hanley Junior High, and University City High School. After graduating high school, Sandy went on to attend Washington University, earning a B.A. in business.
He began his career as an investment broker in 1962 and worked tirelessly in the industry for nearly six decades, finishing his successful career at Smith Moore & Company in 2020.
When Sandy was 26 years old, he met who would become his whole world, Beverly. Madly in love, the two were married on December, 4th 1966. They shared 58 wonderful years of marriage, filled with laughter and love that only grew richer over time. Together they had two children, Rob and Jill. Sandy was an extraordinarily devoted father, coaching every sport his kids and being their biggest cheerleader and supporter in every season of their lives.

Sandy will be remembered as a kind, intelligent, humble, and loving man, deeply loved by his friends and family. His humor, wisdom, and warmth will be greatly missed.
Sandy is survived by his wife, Beverly; two children Rob (Amy) and Jill (Dorian Brew); 4 grandchildren Callie and Cammi Brew, Devin and Jackson Wolff; brother in law Gene (Linda) Carton. He is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Gertrude Wolff, and sisters Ilean Rudin and Naomi Wolff.
