Beloved husband of Merle Linkemer; dear father of Terry Linkemer, Scott Linkemer (Anita), Shari Crutchfield (John), and Leslie Nadeau (Allen); dear grandfather of Lauren Coldiron (Michael), Joshua Crutchfield, Lucy Nadeau (Michael O’Brien), Trevor Nadeau, and Evan Nadeau; dear great-grandfather of Luke and Grayson Coldiron and Simone O’Brien Nadeau; dear son of the late Mildred and the late Ben Linkemer; dear brother of the late Stuart Linkemer (late Bonnie) and the late Sandra Kruger; former husband of Bobbi Linkemer; dear uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.

Richard was an innovator and entrepreneur in the real estate education industry. He was an avid handball player and enjoyed golf. Richard was a determined, motivated thinker who cared most about his family.

The family extends its gratitude to Richard’s caregivers and hospice nurses for their loving care.

Graveside service Friday, May 9 at 2:30 PM at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road. Memorial contributions preferred to the Merle and Richard Linkemer Camp Sabra Scholarship Fund at the St. Louis JCC or the Alzheimer’s Association.
