It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Benkof, husband of Phyllis Cucchi Benkof, brother of Barbara Bianco, Nancy Benkof (Paul Pletka), Debbie Trevisano (Mark), step-father of Christine Cucchi Evans (Scott), son of Alice Katz Benkof and Julius Benkof.
Richard was a talented children’s and wedding photographer and leaves behind a legacy of thousands of treasured photographs on the walls of homes of families throughout the community. He also was often called upon to photograph visiting dignitaries and even United States Presidents when they came to town.
A memorial service will be held later in the year. Memorial contributions preferred to the Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
