Block, Lawrence S., died Sept. 26, 2010. Dear husband of Pat L. (nee Draper) Block; son of the late Harry and Bessie Block; father of Julie Rae Block Hintz and Karen Jane Russell; grandfather of Matthew, David, Rebecca, Timothy, Daniel and Sarah Hintz, Clinton and the late Douglas Russel; cousin, uncle and friend. Mr. Block was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and served with the Third Infantry Division in 1951. He was an industrial/commercial photographer, working locally, nationally and internationally for over 45 years, retiring in 2000. Mr. Block was a former member of the Professional Photographers of America, Missouri and St. Louis, as well as Founder and first President of the Commercial Photographers of St. Louis. He was a life member and officer with the Disabled American Veterans St. Louis County Chapter No. 53 and a life member of several other veterans groups. He also was a 20-plus-year volunteer at John Cochran Veterans Hospital and a long time member of Temple Israel Congregation. Ahuva Boyer, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2010 in Toronto, Canada. Lorraine E. Burg, died Sept. 27, 2010. Beloved wife of Robert L. Burg; mother of Linda Burg and the late Deborah L.
