Miriam Rader Greenberg

Miriam Rader Greenberg, died June 4, 2013 at age 77. She was born on June 21, 1935 in St. Louis, Mo. to Sam and Anna Rader. Miriam grew up in St. Louis and graduated from University High School. She attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Miriam met her husband Maynard in Miami Beach, Florida and they were married on August 21, 1955 in St. Louis. Miriam Greenberg was very involved in various Oklahoma City civic and charitable organizations including serving as president of Hadassah, Women’s Fundraising, chairman of the Oklahoma City Jewish Federation, on the Board of Directors of Allied Arts, on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra, on the Board of the Directors and Fundraising Chairman for the Daily Living Center, and also she was active in the Mummers Theatre. She was an avid reader and gardener who also enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing and museums. Miriam took great joy from playing bridge with her husband Maynard and cards with her friends. She is survived by her husband, Maynard Greenberg, daughter, Sherri Greenberg, son, Ken Greenberg, son-in-law Cary Ferchill, grandchildren Jordan Ferchill, Price Ferchill and Natalie Greenberg, brother Irving Rader, nieces Lynne Koeppel, Dr. Janet Rader and Karen Gelfand, nephews Paul Rader, Ted Greenberg and Dough Hirsch.
