Marvin Gilbert Ansel, aged 90, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025 in Palm Sorings, where he recently resided. Born on May 9, 1934, Marvin spent most of his life in St. Louis, Missouri. Before retiring to the warmth and beauty of Palm Springs.

A devoted father and grandfather and cherished friend, Marvin is survived by his sister Joan Loewenstein (Mel Loewenstein), his loving children Stephanie Ellen Ansel Burkhard (David Burkhard) and Chuck Ansel (Brian Gordon). He was proud grandfather to Ryan Burkhard (Amanda Paige Burkhard), Darren Burkhard, Hailey Burkhard and great granddaughter, Charlotte Rayn “Charlie” Burkhard. 

Marvin will be remembered for his love for good conversation, his pride in his children and grandchildren, and his warm, friendly nature. He had a gift for making those around him feel valued and welcomed, always ready with a kind word or a listening ear. He will be dearly missed.
