Marty Greenberg, a man whose charisma and entrepreneurial spirit touched many, passed away on May 16, 2025.
He was the beloved husband of Pamela Anderson Greenberg, with whom he shared 38 wonderful years. Marty was a loving father to Doug (Jill), Pam Stoutenburgh (Dennis), and the late Justin Greenberg. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Connor (Joana Samples), Nicholas, Max, Justin Darnell (Anthea), Avery Darnell (Riley Williams), Kristen Windell (Sam), Alex Stoutenburgh, Dennis Stoutenburgh (Lauren Lause), and Mary Stoutenburgh, as well as his great-granddaughter, Alana. He was the devoted son of the late Ruth Weingart (Reese), Melvin Greenberg and a dear brother to Anita Tischler (Howard), Barbara Greenblatt (the late Bill), and the late Maxine Hirsch. Marty was also a brother-in-law to Beverly LaFata (Mike), and a beloved uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend. Not to be forgotten is his loyal companion, Louie, his cherished dog.
A proud graduate of University City High School, Marty furthered his education at Washington University in the engineering school and served his country in the National Guard. He was a true pioneer in the St. Louis personal computer industry and possessed a keen entrepreneurial spirit, always drawn to technology and the latest gadgets. Marty found immense joy in hosting friends and family by his backyard pool, a place of laughter and connection. Above all, his greatest happiness was found in the company of his beloved wife, Pam, and their faithful dog, Louie. Marty deeply loved his family and treasured the many lifelong friendships he cultivated throughout his life.
A memorial service to celebrate Marty’s life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM at BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Boulevard, with visitation preceding at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to their preferred charity Addiction is Real, 6209 Mid Rivers Mall Drive #310, St. Peters, MO 63304, or via their website at addictionisreal.org.
