Lloyd Myron Arkin, died December 14, 2014. Beloved husband of Harriette Schiffer Arkin for 54 years; dear son of the late Ida and the late Morris Arkin; dear father and father-in-law of Stephanie Arkin and Lizabeth (Dave) Schaps; dear grandfather of Hannah and Julia Schaps; loving brother-in-law of Laurence (Jeanie) Schiffer and Suzanne (Richard) Miller; our dear uncle, cousin and friend. Memorial service Wednesday, December 17th, 10:00 AM at Congregation Temple Israel May Chapel, #1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141. Mr. Arkin was born in Omaha, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska. Lloyd served in the US Army during the Korean conflict and was awarded a Bronze Star.
