Joanne Bryer (formerly Joanne Katzif of St. Louis) passed away on October 2, 2023 in Sacramento, California.
Joanne was the wife of the late Arthur Katzif and the late Arnold Bryer. Loving mother of the late Jeffrey (Dale) Katzif, Kenneth (Sally) Katzif, Larry (Stephanie) Katzif and Lisa (Jeff) Geren. Dearest grandmother of the late Julie Katzif, Emily (Jared Fix) Katzif, Amy (Chris) Pasternak, Laura (Andrew Pfister) Katzif, Michael Katzif, Elise (Ben) Walker, Anna (Donnyves) Laroque, Joseph Geren and Jacquelyn Geren. Special great-grandmother of Zoe and Lucie Fix, Jacob and Aaron Bell, August Pfister, Adam and Abigail Walker, and Nathan Geren.
Joanne worked many years in retail, primarily at Stix Baer & Fuller at Westroads and Robinson’s in Los Angeles. She was an avid reader, and she loved to cook new recipes and play tennis.
A private service will be held in Sacramento.
