Gene M. Schneider, died September 10, 2011. Beloved widower of Betty Jean Schneider; loving father of Susie Schneider, Steve (Rochelle) Schneider, Linda Schneider and Lisa Schneider; dear grandfather of Henry, Joseph and Theresa Schneider; dear brother of the late Murray Schneider; our dear uncle, cousin and friend. He was the second generation owner of New Market Hardware Company, which was established in 1914. He loved the outdoors, and was a avid skier, cyclist and bird watcher. He loved jazz music and dancing with his late wife Betty. Funeral service Wednesday, September 14th 2 p.m. at Berger Memorial Chapel, McPherson at Walton.
