Elizabeth A. Fendell (nee Brubaker)

Elizabeth A. Fendell (nee Brubaker), died March 31, 2014. Born August 31, 1941 in Palm Beach, Fla. and raised in St. Louis, Mo. She attended Ladue Horton Watkins High School, the University of Illinois and graduated from the Tobe-Coburn School of Fashion Careers in New York, N.Y.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Fendell  in 1988 and her parents Warren E. Brubaker and Hazel P. Brubaker (nee Voaden). She is survived by her children, Charles H. Fendell (Ginny) of St. Louis, Amy M. Fendell-Wipf (Luzius) of Hanoi, Vietnam, Christopher L. Fendell (Tiffany) of Phoenix and M. Tracy Fendell of St. Louis; grandchildren, Richard H. Fendell (Liz), Madeline Fendell, Nico Wipf, Christopher Fendell and Liliana Fendell; four great-grandchildren and her brothers Warren E. Brubaker (Linda) of Chicago and McCormick L. Brubaker (Theresa) of Old Chatham, N.Y.; sisters-in-law Nancy Fendell Lurie (Ronald) of Montana. Betsy was a wonderful mother, sister and friend. She was dearly loved and will be missed. Services: A private interment was held at New Mt. Sinai Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard H. and Elizabeth A.
