Dr. Ronald Nelson, died April 25, 2014 at age 81. Brother of Bruce (Nancy) Brodsky of Boynton Beach, Fla.; father of Dale (Marcy) Brodsky of St. Louis, Lynn Nelson of Wylie, Tx., Amy (Gerald) Davidson of St. Louis and Wendy (Richard) Paley of Boca Raton, Fla.; grandfather of Andrea, Cheri & Michael Davidson, Dan Weinhaus and Rebecca Nelson. Ron was a proud veteran of the US Army before his long career in the optometry field.  He was known for his love of bowling, golf and tennis, football, musical theater, old movies, baseball, Broadway shows, the sea and his broad knowledge of history and politics.
