Dr. Ira C. Gall

Dr. Ira C. Gall, died March 29, 2013 from complications of Pancreatic Cancer. Husband of Judith (Pushin) Gall for 60 years; Father of Thomas, Steven and the late Jeffrey (Carol) Gall; Grandfather of Jocelyn (Wesley) Masurat, Andrew, Brett and Melissa Gall; Brother of Clarence Gall. Dr. Gall was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati. After serving as an Air Force physician, he moved his family to St. Louis to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and his fellowship in Fertility and Sterility at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes Hospital. He then practiced medicine at Barnes Hospital with the late William Masters, MD of Masters and Johnson. Later he co-created Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inc. and Medicine Shoppe International with the late Mitchell Yanow, MD. He was a philanthropist and strong community supporter. Memorial service Tuesday, April 2nd, 11:30 AM at Congregation Temple Israel, Ladue and Spoede Road. No visitation prior to service.
