Deborah Faye Greenstein, died March 1, 2013 in Overland Park, Kan. She was born to Sol and Bella Fendelman of St. Louis, MO on June 22,1943. Deborah was married to Barry Greenstein of Kansas City, MO for nearly 49 years. Deborah was active in her husband’s accounting firm for thirteen years. She was a member of AMIT and volunteered at the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Children’s Mercy Hospital. She generously opened up her heart and home to many people over the years who needed a place to stay. She has been a wonderful example of how to have a good life in spite of obstacles. Deborah’s number one passion was her marriage, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Steven Fendelman of St Louis, MO. She is survived by her husband Barry Greenstein, and two children, Ronald Greg (Jodi) Greenstein of Chicago, IL. and Stacie Lynn Greenstein Scopo (Ralph Scopo) along with four grandchildren, Sarah Scopo (Travis)Traynor, and Jamie, Shelby and Michael Greenstein, sister-in-law Anne Lesser and brother-in-law Jerry Greenstein. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Diabetes Association of America. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am Sunday, March 3, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue.
