David Owen Feldman, age 81, of Tinley Park, IL (but originally from St. Louis, MO), passed on April 20, 2025 in Tinley Park, IL. 

David was born on August 7, 1943 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Izzy and Bernice Feldman. He was the oldest of out of 3 children.

He graduated from University City High School in 1961 then went on to college at University of Missouri – St. Louis earning an Associates Degree in Engineering. Dave joined the Air Force in 1962 where he served 4 years and was honorably discharged in 1966. On February 15, 1978, he married Susan Adele Gorman in St. Louis, MO. David is survived by 6 children.

• Holly Eichele (Husband, Willie Eichele and daughters Brittani LoPresti , Kasey Lotycz, Shae Gawry, and Zoe Eichele along with 3 great-grandchildren: RaeLynn LoPresti, Hawk LoPresti, and Brinley Lotycz)

• Bob Feldman (Wife, Beth Feldman and son Seth Feldman)

• Cory Feldman (daughters Mia Feldman, Jade Feldman & Akemi)

• Rick Feldman (daughter Angela Feldman)

• Angela Meier (Husband, Bill Meier and daughter Zoe Juhlin)

David worked for Emerson Electric in St. Louis, MO for 41 Years. He retired in 2009 in order to finally enjoy some down time after providing for his family. David and Susan moved to the Chicago suburbs in 2019 where they have lived with their dog, Bentley. They were surrounded by great neighbors & new restaurants to try and lots of shopping. 

David enjoyed, grocery shopping, using coupons, garage sale shopping, cameras & taking pictures, camping, fishing, and shooting & collecting guns. David also enjoyed spending quality time with family over a good home cooked meal, especially BBQ ribs. 

Funeral Service will be held on (TBD) for anyone who wishes to attend. Rabbi Jenny Steiberg-Martinez will be conducting the service.
