Palestinian woman arrested in bid to attack Hebron tomb

JERUSALEM (JTA) — A Palestinian woman arrested at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron said she planned to commit a terror attack.

The woman, in her 20s, was detained Monday after acting suspiciously. She was discovered to be carrying three large knives.

It is believed that she planned to stab a policeman or a soldier.

She reportedly was released from prison several months ago after serving a prison sentence for a similar attempt.
