Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration to feature Israeli musician

Join the community at the JCC Staenberg Family Complex gym on Sunday, May 6 to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel. All ages are welcome to enjoy activities, entertainment and food, featuring the return appearance to St. Louis of Israeli musician Yuval Halaf. Families will be able to have a picture taken in a virtual Israel photo booth, participate in arts and crafts activities, enjoy airbrushed art T-shirts, taste Israeli wine, marvel at the roving circus magician and shop for Israeli jewelry. Hot dogs, falafel, hummus and drinks will be available for purchase. The evening will conclude with a professional fireworks display on the JCC athletic fields.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with live entertainment beginning at 6:30 p.m. and concluding with a fireworks display at 8:30 p.m. The cost is $12 per family (two adults and children) or $6 per individual adult. Enter through the JCC fitness building entrance and pay at the door. Event co-chairs are Amy-Bender Levy and Rich Levy.
