Yeshivat Kadimah holds graduation and founders celebration on May 28

Yeshivat Kadimah High School, which is finishing its first school year in operation, will hold its first graduation ceremony and a Founders Celebration at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Nusach Hari Bnai Zion, 650 N. Price Road in Olivette. Members of the community are invited to participate in celebrating the school’s first year and awarding a high school diploma to its first graduating student.
Yeshivat Kadimah, a Modern Orthodox high school, opened in August 2013 as a four-year high school for grades 9-12 with an initial enrollment of 11 students. The school blend of traditional classes and online courses for both secular and Jewish subjects. General studies courses are offered through traditional instruction and use of an online curriculum through the University of Missouri High School. Jewish studies are also provided both in the classroom and by using technology to connect students to educators in Israel, including Rabbi Menachem Leibtag in Israel, founder of tanach.org. In March, the school held an Inaugural Gala at the St. Louis Public Library attended by 200 people.
