For more than two decades, Sol Werdiger, CEO of OuterStuff—a leading youth sports apparel brand—has combined his passion for faith, family, and football to turn Super Bowl weekend into an unforgettable Shabbat experience. Now, Werdiger is bringing his playbook for balancing business and Jewish values to St. Louis on Jan. 15 for the Staenberg Speaker Series, an event designed for Jewish young professionals ages 22 to 35.
The Staenberg Speaker Series: A New Level of Networking
This year marks the second installment of the Staenberg Speaker Series, hosted by IgniteYP, and introduces a more intimate and impactful format. This year’s series features three speakers over three months (January, February, and March).
“The Staenberg Speaker Series is the networking division of Ignite, launched in 2023 with the goal of offering Jewish young professionals and grad students the opportunity to learn from some of St. Louis’s finest Jewish C-suite executives,” said Shani Roberts, director of IgniteYP. “This year, we’re taking it up a notch! We’ve got guest speakers coming from all over the U.S. to share their stories and advice as proud Jews in executive spaces worldwide. Each event is designed to provide the ultimate Jewish networking experience, featuring an incredible speaker, awesome career mentors who are deeply connected to their Judaism, and, of course, topped off with amazing food!”
An Evening with Sol Werdiger
The event begins at 6:45 p.m. with appetizers and drinks, followed by Werdiger’s keynote at 7:15 p.m. Known for his ability to blend faith, tradition, and business acumen, Werdiger will share insights on maintaining Jewish values in a fast-paced, competitive world. Afterward, an audience Q&A will provide attendees the chance to ask questions and learn from his experiences.
The evening will also feature a special appearance by Louie, the St. Louis Blues mascot, adding a fun and welcoming touch to the kickoff of the series.
